## Frequently Asked Questions

**Q. I want to change the location the sky is shown for.**
A. Use the location button at the bottom-left of the app screen to pick a city. Choose "Auto" to estimate it from your device's time zone. No location data (GPS) is used.

**Q. I want to switch the language.**
A. Use the language button at the bottom-right of the app screen to choose "System / Japanese / English". On first launch it follows your device language (Japanese for Japanese devices, English otherwise).

**Q. I want to change the clock design.**
A. Tap the gear icon (top-right) → "Customize" to change analog / digital, frame, hands, typeface, calendar, date position, and more. Using the size tabs at the top (App / Small / Medium / Large / Extra Large), you can **save a separate design for each size.**

**Q. I want to add a widget.**
A. Long-press the Home Screen → tap "+" → select Polaris, then choose a size. There is also a "Sky" widget that shows just the star sky without a clock.

**Q. Seconds don't show on the widget.**
A. By design, widgets display up to minutes (e.g., 22:20). Live display down to the second is available in the app itself.

**Q. I want to show shooting stars, star names, or constellation lines.**
A. In "Customize" → "Sky", you can turn on shooting stars, major star names, and constellation lines individually. They also apply to the clock-free "Sky" widget.

**Q. The widget does not update / my settings are not reflected.**
A. Changes made in the app are reflected automatically, but if the display is slow to update, removing and re-adding the widget will refresh it reliably.

**Q. I want to keep the screen from turning off.**
A. While the app is open, the screen stays on so you can use it as a bedside clock (this does not affect other apps or the Home Screen).
